Go to My Trips
Navigate to your trips page from the user menu.
Select the booking
Find the reservation you want to cancel.
Click Cancel
Confirm the cancellation. Your refund will be processed based on the policy.

Extenuating Circumstances Policy
In rare cases involving emergencies beyond your control β such as natural disasters, serious illness, or government-imposed travel restrictions β you may be eligible for a full refund regardless of the listing's standard cancellation policy.
To request a review, contact our support team with relevant documentation within 14 days of the event.

Refunds are processed within 5β10 business days after cancellation. The exact timeline depends on your payment provider.
Can I get a refund for unused nights?
If you check out early, the refund depends on the host's cancellation policy. Some hosts offer partial refunds for unused nights at their discretion.
What if the host cancels my reservation?
If a host cancels your booking, you'll receive a full refund automatically. We'll also help you find alternative accommodation.
Are cleaning fees refundable?
Cleaning fees are fully refunded when you cancel before the cancellation deadline. After that, refund amounts follow the same policy as the nightly rate.
What counts as an extenuating circumstance?
Natural disasters, government travel restrictions, serious illness, and death of an immediate family member may qualify for a full refund regardless of the cancellation policy.
